Description
Objective
- This award recognizes an ASIS subject area community that has excelled in member engagement and content development, showcasing its commitment to fostering vibrant discussions, nurturing knowledge exchange, and cultivating valuable resources within the community.
Eligibility
- Any ASIS subject area community is eligible to apply.
- Nominees not selected may reapply in any following year.
Nominations
- Nominations may be submitted by any ASIS Community Vice President or Steering Committee member.
- Nominations will only be evaluated for performance during the award year, defined as the previous calendar year (January to December).
- All nominations must be submitted via the online awards management platform by the publicized annual deadline.

- Steering Committee Operations – Membership
- Community Engagement – Communications
- Community Engagement – Meetings/Events
- Content Development
- GSX – Session Proposals
- GSX – Community Engagement
Evaluation and Selection
- A Selection Committee will evaluate the nominees based on the established criteria.
- The Selection Committee will rely solely on the information provided in the nomination.
- Only one winner may be selected in any award year.
- The Selection Committee may opt not to select a winner if there are no suitable nominations.
- Notifications will be issued via the online awards management platform.
Recognition and Award
- Award recipients are formally recognized for their excellence and achievements at the annual Global Security Exchange.
- The award recipient will be provided with digital promotional graphics and a complimentary GSX All-Access Pass registration to be awarded to a Steering Committee or community member at the Steering Committee’s discretion.
- Award recipients will be featured throughout the year in ASIS promotions and communications.
